CemTec SX-4500 (Black) is a two-part adhesive, when catalysed with CemTec A306 Hardener in the correct ratio yields high strength adhesion for bonding cured rubber to itself, cured elastomers to fabrics and textiles such as polyesters and nylon. It is particularly suitable for bonding soft cured rubbers (<50 IRHD) such as NR gumstocks and soft EPDM and Butyl rubbers. It will bond cured rubber to metal if used in conjunction with CemTec SP-105 Metal Primer. When fully cured,  SX-4500 is characterised by bond strengths greater than the tear strength of the rubber substrate.
